LEATHER FOR SOFAS
Leather sofas have always been a symbol of class and elegance; even today, despite fabric models being very popular, some people believe a sofa is (and should be) exclusively made of leather. Smooth, quilted, or stitched, leather sofas come in many different types but must meet one fundamental requirement: quality.
LEATHER FOR UPHOLSTERY AND SOFAS
We specialize in the production and wholesale supply of leather and hides, including sofa leathers in our collections that are not only beautiful but also meet the highest quality standards for the raw materials used.
Compared to a fabric sofa, a leather sofa is, in many ways, much more delicate: accidentally spilling a cup of coffee or cleaning with a corrosive chemical can irreparably damage the sofa covering. This is why Lealpell sofa leather is highly durable. To ensure longevity and, consequently, usability over time, and to limit natural wear and tear, we carefully select the raw hides used for sofa upholstery, ensuring they are as large as possible.
The collections we typically use to cover sofas must also meet another important requirement: softness. This is certainly achieved thanks to the quality of the raw materials used, but is also enhanced by the padding. Lealpell sofa leathers therefore include types of leather characterised by a particular softness, such as Full Grain, Aniline, Semi-Aniline and Nubuck.
